Been busy making new lotion bars which will be posted this week. They've gotten some upgrades from my last plain jane bars I used to sell. I had these big flower molds laying around from the days when I tried to experiment making bath bombs (spoiler-I have never made a good bath bomb) and I thought they looked so much more attractive than my rectangle bar molds. So each line will get their own mold. The recipes are chock full of what your skin has been craving too. Every bar has added vitamin E to give it a little antioxidant boost which is not only good for your skin, but helps keep the oils in the bar from going rancid. A note about our vitamin E, it's plant sourced and non-GMO. A lot of vitamin E on the market, especially in bulk quantities, is synthetic, and while that might not be the worst thing in the world, we prefer to use what the good Earth gave us.
These lotion bars are not just making their way onto the website this week though, they're also going into our giveaway basket at this Tuesday's market! If you happen to be in the Bryan/College Station area on Sept. 5, we'll be at our fall market location in front of the Stella Hotel so definitely come see us. We will be selling tickets to be entered in a drawing for a body care basket and the best part is not the amazing items you'll get in the basket, but where the proceeds are going. 100% of the ticket sales for the drawing will go to helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey here in Texas. This money will be buying water and buying supplies for work crews heading into Houston and surrounding areas. It is going to be a very, very long time before southeast Texas feels even close to normal, but we are hoping to add our drop in the bucket along side the many businesses and fellow Americans who are reaching out to help.
